The T. Wall Foundation helps special children and families in need.
Each November we receive hardship letters from the students
of our special education teachers. We purchase beds, furniture,
clothing and gifts for the holidays. The Foundation remains anonymous
as we orchestrate the funding needed to secure provisions for families in need.
Without the closeness we have with the special education teachers in Washtenaw County,
these families would receive no assistance for the December holiday.
Our goal is to make one day a very special day in their lives.
The Foundation has two fundraising events. One being our famous
All Star Hot Dog Stand which operates with disabled volunteer workers
on the front lawn of All Star Drivers education at each Michigan
home football game. The other is our golf outing held each summer.
We run two activities each year. The T. Wall B-Ball event is held
at Greenhills school where the Greenhills students team up with a special person
for a carnival-like atmosphere. The second event is Victors Day
where U-M student athletes sign autographs on our students’ t-shirts
and teach them the skills of their sports.
